Are you using Flat Files on Amazon? Well you should Amazon's backend is constantly messing up and always has data integrity issues If you have ever been faced with a situation where a bullet is wrong or you can't seem to get the right data to display, then you need to be using flat files They seem scary at first but just follow this quick guide 1. Download a Category Listing Report 2. Download the category upload template for your product 3. Choose whether this is a full(all data filled in) or partial(only data you want updated) update 4. Add all of you data from the category listing report to the template 5. Change the data you want 6. Upload the file and wait 24hrs to see if your data stuck Flat files seem intimidating, but really are awesome to use and make life as a seller better

Flat files are crucial for managing large catalogs, particularly in the shoe & clothing sector, and can save significant time once you understand them. However, avoid performing full updates without images, as Amazon's Category Listing Report doesn't include images, which can cause issues. It's vital to use a reliable image hosting tool to ensure smooth updates and maintain data integrity

Using a flat file for the first time can feel overwhelming, but once you get the hang of it, it can save you a lot of time.

Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know why the listings still show up as standalone listings even though the child listings are already linked to the parent listing? I've fixed it using a flat file, but it still shows the same. There are zero inventories yet—maybe this is the reason? Has anyone experienced this?

While this is helpful to sellers who don’t use Flat files but Accounts with large catalog, especially in clothing know how this is life saver. However you should not use full updates without images (sadly Amazon do not provide in Category Listing Report) which can mess things up. Having a right image hosting tool is very important if you want to use Flat files. Been doing this since years.
