Thanks for the shoutout, Akash Bhat! It means the world to us to know that we've been able to help make Leen's journey just a little bit easier. This is why we do what we do - to empower remarkable founders like Akash by providing the financial guidance and peace of mind they need to focus on what matters most - building and growing their business!
Friday stories from inside Leen: This isn't so much a story as it is an expression of gratitude. I want to give a heartfelt s/o to the following people & their firms, without whom, this path would have been much more challenging. First off, building a company is a long, lonely journey. You can't do it all by yourself. Behind every founding team, there's an army of superstars helping them quietly in the background. I'm not just talking about team members & our investors, but also the vendors, lawyers, real estate agents, designers, friends, mentors, advisors, etc. who give shape to the chaos. We've been extremely fortunate to have met some fantastic people along the way. Many of them have become friends, in addition to our working relationship. So today, I want to take a moment to shine a light on the rockstars who have been & continue to be, instrumental in steering our ship (in no particular order). * Sreya Das at Rippling (best onboarding & support experience - I've annoyed her so much with my 'silly' Qs & always received a patient & timely response) * 🍌 Joumana Elomar at Skale (our rockstar web designer - we look good thanks to you) * Kevin K. Rooney, Julianne Orr & Nicole Mondani at Cooley LLP (our corporate counsel) * Bardia Housman & Stephen Weir at StartupHQ (our super friendly workspace owners) * Bob Finnell (our go-to for legal advice - Bob's a legend!) * Sandeep Shroff, Iranna H & Meghana M at myStartUpCFO (making bookkeeping effortlessly easy - and what a great set of people to work with) * Bhalchander Vishwanath, Bruce Pendrey & Tom Alcock (for supporting us through recruitment & great advice on building culture) * Michael Serotte, Raghavan Nagarajan, Dana Quinn Adams at Serotte Law Firm, LLC (ensuring my team & I can legally work in the United States) * Rakesh Tondon (helping with YC appl & general founder advice) * Prajit Nanu (for giving us an office space when we didn't have any money) * Semin Yoo (giving life our product designs & architectures) * Aditya Nambiar (who 'accidentally' introduced us to our future investors) * Aditya Agrawal at Hustlemad (for making our fab looking merch) * Richi Parasrampuria & Sindhu Upadhyay Wadhwa (for being the best mental health coaches) * Dhawal Thakker, Shreesha Ramdas, Ashok Kakani, Rahul Kayala, Amol Walvekar, Suhas Motwani, Jitesh Luthra, Nikhil Jois, Ranjan R Reddy (for invaluable advice & making countless introductions) It doesn't stop here. LinkedIn only allows me to tag a certain number of people on one post. However, I will make it a point to periodically and publicly recognize & thank the wonderful people who continue to help build Leen. It's been a pleasure working with each and everyone of you, and please continue to support us 😊 (pardon the terrible handwriting!) #Leen #FridayStoriesFromInsideLeen #UnifiedAPI #Security #Cybersecurity

We believe that supporting our team members' personal and professional goals is the key to building a thriving, productive work environment. This philosophy has been central to our culture, and we're proud to highlight the story of Meghana, a valued member of our team, to showcase how our flexible approach has made a difference in her life. "As a working mom and caregiver, life can feel like a constant tightrope walk. In addition to my professional role, I'm also a devoted mother to my 3-year-old son and a loving daughter caring for my elderly parents. It's a lot to balance, but the support I've found at myStartUpCFO has been truly life-changing. I recently found myself engrossed in a challenging project one evening, completely losing track of time. The next morning, my manager sent a message – not a reprimand, but a friendly nudge asking if everything was alright! It was a small gesture, but it perfectly encapsulated the culture here. We're trusted to manage our time effectively, and encouraged to prioritize our well-being. I'm so grateful to be part of a company that recognizes the importance of work-life balance and goes above and beyond to support its employees. If you're looking for an environment that will empower you to be your best self, both in and out of the office, then myStartUpCFO is the place for you." #EmpowerHER #FlexibleWork #Remote

Work shouldn't define you, it should empower you. We champion a work-life balance that fosters well-rounded individuals. Hear from Sneha about how our remote work model helped her achieve her dreams outside the office. "Nine years ago, I landed a job at msCFO that changed the trajectory of my life. It wasn't just the work itself – although that's stimulating and rewarding – but the revolutionary concept of a fully remote, flexible schedule. Fast forward to today, and I'm a testament to the power of that flexibility. I'm a proud working mom, actively engaged in my child's life. But that's not all. Being at home has allowed me to become a passionate advocate for sustainability in my community. I'm currently working with the municipal authority on initiatives for sustainable menstruation practices, waste pickup, water conservation. My family even received a sustainable home award! I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the forward-thinking culture at msCFO. For anyone seeking a workplace that values both your professional goals and your personal aspirations, look no further!" #EmpowerHER #FlexibleWork #WorkLifeBalance

Flexibility is key! We sat down with Jyotsna, an admired team mate, to learn how our remote, flexible schedule culture has impacted her life. Spoiler alert: it's a win-win! "It wasn't easy, but I decided to take a break from my corporate climb to focus on my little one – when she was just four at the time. Being a full-time mom was amazing, but after a while, I felt like a part of me was missing that work challenge. For years, I looked for a job that fit my schedule, but nothing clicked. Then, out of the blue, I found msCFO! Working from home with them was the game-changer I needed. msCFO's remote work model wasn't just great for my career, it was a lifesaver! I could juggle work and be there for my daughter, taking her to basketball practice (which, by the way, led to her winning the state Junior NBA Trophy – so proud!). Being around me while I worked also rubbed off on her. She picked up great communication skills and learned the power of hard work from listening to my calls. Now that she's getting ready for college, I'm so thankful to myStartUpCFO. Their flexibility made it possible for me to be both a mom and have a fulfilling career." #EmpowerHER #FlexibleWork #Remote

How do women gracefully balance a thriving career and be fully present for their family? Today we're sharing a story of resilience from our team member, Jaspreet. In her words: "Balancing work, family, and unexpected challenges is a journey we all share. As a mom to a young son and caregiver to my elders, life's unpredictability often threw challenges my way, from navigating through COVID uncertainties to facing a family member's cancer diagnosis. In the midst of these trials, I found unwavering support at myStartUpCFO. Their flexible timing and always-remote policies weren't just perks; they became my lifeline. I didn't have to choose between being there for my family and pursuing my career. (A special thank you to my team, who took over 100% of my tasks, including my inbox, whenever I needed them.) Here's to a workplace that values not just what we do at work, but who we are at home. Here's to all the incredible women out there, navigating their unique journeys with grace and resilience." Jaspreet's story is a reminder that true flexibility changes lives. After all, we haven’t come this far to only come this far! How can your workplace support women through all of life's challenges? #EmpowerHER #FlexibleWork

Working moms often tackle a unique challenge. They want to stay true to their ambitions, but they also know how important their presence at home is. After all, mothers profoundly influence the well-being of their families. At myStartUpCFO, we hold a deep conviction that acknowledging this delicate balance is the key to empowering all women, especially working mothers. We checked in with Nisha, a valued team member, to hear about the support she experiences at msCFO. Let's hear from her. "It's refreshing to work in an environment that appreciates the many, many roles of working mothers. On this special day, I want to encourage fellow moms to seek out organisations that prioritise the needs of their employees. myStartUpCFO has allowed me to juggle my personal and professional aspirations with confidence." #EmpowerHER #WomenInBusiness #WomensDay

This Women's Day we celebrate a decade guided by a belief – that remote work isn't just a choice, it's a promise of inclusion. Women in our workforce don't just join, they thrive, breaking free from traditional office norms. Offering the option of being fully remote since 2014 isn't just about flexibility, it's declaring that talent knows no boundaries. Here's to the strength of women shaping our remote landscape, where diversity isn't a buzzword but the fabric of our success. Happy Women's Day, where distance can't dim the strength of our unity! #EmpowerHER #WomenInFinance #WomensDay
