This past Monday, Pharmavite’s EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Christine Burdick-Bell, spoke at NutraIngredients-USA’s #DSHEASummit, which explored the history of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994.This year marks the 30th anniversary of the industry-defining law, and the Summit brought together both individuals who were in the room during the passage and implementation of DSHEA, as well as pioneers from across the dietary supplements industry. Christine, along with Scott Bass, Bob Durkin, Jim Emme, Loren Israelsen, and George Paraskevakos, participated in a panel expertly moderated by Stephen Daniells to discuss the future of dietary supplement regulation and what it could and should look like.
