In San Francisco last week on Juneteenth, a group from the LSB headed out to volunteer with A Home Away From Homelessness. The local, non-profit organization strives to break the cycle of homelessness and hopelessness for young people in San Francisco and Marin. Our team rolled up their sleeves to do yardwork and planting, preparing the organization's Beach House for visiting groups this summer. At the Beach House, small groups of children from shelters in the area get the chance to explore nature, hike, have a picnic, play games, and go to the beach. We share efforts like these to thank our teams for handling their local communities with care and building opportunities for others. It's all part of how we do good while doing business.

Enjoy the delicious views from a recent #method event in the UK where we teamed up with Humble Crumble for a baking workshop! A group of special guests were invited to create a bespoke rhubarb, strawberry and ginger crumble recipe served with custard in celebration of the launch of the new limited edition cream custard multi service cleaner and its partner in grime, wild rhubarb anti-bac all purpose cleaner. Any mess left on the counter from cooking didn't stand a chance with each glorious squirt that smells like dessert and leaves surfaces sparkling clean. ✨ Cheers to the team for dreaming up this duo and tasty event!

Our #Babyganics team knows getting outside this summer with kids can be tough, so they dreamed up a way for parents to get their hands on the most forgotten outdoor essentials! The recent Oops! I Forgot It Again stands in NYC and LA supported families by providing free items, including our new Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen and Mosquito Repellent Lotion, and sunglasses, wipes, toys and more. Visitors were invited to take what they needed, and leave behind any items they could pass along to another family. Actress Nikki Reed even joined in on the efforts – sharing about the events to both E! and Us Weekly: “This campaign really resonated with me because it’s all about getting your kiddos outdoors, but also embracing all of the perfectly imperfect moments that come with parenthood,” Reed told Us. Our Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® team has been 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦 about new ways to share compassion and kindness. On a recent stroll in New York City, individuals had the chance to visit The Compassion Store — the place where compassion was currency. Inside, people could shop without any cash or cards — all they needed was a little bit of kindness. Throughout the shop, visitors discovered small acts they could do to demonstrate compassion for themselves, loved ones, their community, and beyond. In exchange for these small acts of compassion, shoppers received useful products that will help them grow compassion in their own backyards. The Compassion Store is part of the second year of the #MrsMeyers Lots of Compassion project. Learn more about vacant lots being turned into community gardens, grant recipients and this year’s partnership with Walmart: https://lnkd.in/gEvB2avR Thank you to our teams for creating compassion in our communities, with our consumers and throughout your careers!

Our UK team recently held a Mental Health Awareness Week where we took meaningful strides in our efforts to foster a culture of support and understanding amongst our teams. 👥 Our team of Mental Health First Aiders stood ready to lend a listening ear and provide guidance to those in need. Thank you to these team members for their dedication to promoting mental well-being! 💬 We were also honored to host Luke Barrow from Two Pints Deep, a men's mental health community and anonymous messaging platform. The insightful talk shed light on the importance of addressing men's mental health and resonated deeply, inspiring the team to continue to break down barriers and encourage open conversations about mental well-being. Additionally, one of our own team members openly shared their personal journey with mental health challenges. Their courage and vulnerability sparked meaningful dialogue and reminded us of the strength in seeking support. 🚶♀️ The MHFA team also organized a "wellness walk and talk" where we embraced the healing power of nature while engaging in meaningful conversations. At SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands, we make a collective commitment to prioritize mental well-being; supporting each other, fostering empathy, and championing a workplace culture that values mental health. Together, we can make a difference.
