As I reflect on the conclusion of my enriching two-year internship at Vispero, I am grateful for the transformative experience it has been. Joining the company at the age of 18 with no prior programming background, I had limited exposure to the software industry. Vispero, as the leader in accessibility software for blind and low-vision individuals, provided me with a profound understanding of how technology can pave the way for an equitable future.
During my tenure, I focused on analyzing telemetry data, unveiling the power of data in enhancing customer experience, deciphering user behavior, and refining software offerings. I created data dashboards and workbooks using query languages and machine learning, worked with developers in retrieving and understanding user data, and shared insights and predictions in company-wide presentations. This experience not only shaped my perspective but also fueled my decision to pursue a degree in Data Science.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the entire Vispero community, with special acknowledgment to my manager, Roxana Fischer. Her unwavering kindness, patience, and support were instrumental in guiding me through the intricacies of the Azure ecosystem. Roxana continuously provided additional materials and challenges that expanded my knowledge, making telemetry an integral part of Vispero’s development process.
I am equally grateful to Carl Wise and Sriram Ramanathan for believing in me and offering me the opportunity to contribute to Vispero's success. Their trust allowed me to translate my ideas into effective change, fostering insights, experiences, and industry knowledge that have significantly shaped my personal and professional growth over these two years.
As I embark on the next chapter of my journey , I carry with me the invaluable lessons and skills gained at Vispero and want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who played a role in my development. My experiences here have not only made me a more driven person but have also left an indelible mark on my professional journey. Thank you, Vispero!
