Our newly launched AWS App Studio removes the heavy lifting of developing and running applications. It makes building secure, enterprise-grade applications possible for a whole new group of technical professionals who can build in minutes what would’ve taken a professional developer days to build from scratch. App Studio provides granular access control policies over your data, users, and applications, also gives IT teams visibility into every application, enabling them to track usage and maintain compliance with company policies. Today at NY Summit, we announced new capabilities for customers to tailor GenAI to their needs and realize the benefits for this technology even faster. Here’s more on our latest launches 🚀: 🟠 With Amazon Q Apps, anyone can build GenAI applications by writing a simple natural language prompt—in seconds. One customer, Druva, created an Amazon Q app to support their request for proposal (RFP) process by summarizing the required information almost instantly, reducing RFP response times by up to 25%. 🟠 Customers can securely customize Amazon Q Developer with their internal code base to get more relevant and useful recommendations from in-line coding and save even more time. For instance, National Australia bank has seen increased acceptance rates for 60%, up from 50%, and Amazon Prime developers have already seen a 30% increase in acceptance rates. 🟠 (In Preview) AWS App Studio enables technical professionals, such as IT project managers, data engineers, and enterprise architects to use natural language to create, deploy, and manage enterprise applications across their organizations. 🟠 Three new features in Amazon Bedrock to power customization for GenAI applications: 1/Fine tune Anthropic’s Claude 3 Haiku model, 2/leverage more data sources for RAG, 3/get the fastest vector search available. 🟠 Our new partnership with Scale AI allows enterprise and public sector organizations to evaluate their GenAI applications and further customize, configure, and fine tune models to ensure trust and high performance in production.

Amazon’s latest chip, Graviton4 is now generally available and brings better performance than our previous chip generations—delivering 75% more memory while using up to 60% less energy than comparable Amazon EC2 instances. We previewed the chip with a few customers, including SAP, Epic Games, and SmugMug and have seen some great results.
