The US EPA has finalized changes to the NESHAP for Gasoline Distribution Terminals (Subpart R), NESHAP for area sources (Subpart BBBBBB or 6B), and introduced a new NSPS (Subpart XXa). These changes will impact nearly 9,500 gasoline distribution facilities, affecting storage tanks, loading operation controls, equipment leak detection, performance testing, and compliance reporting. Trihydro reviewed these new requirements, focusing on definition changes, equipment leak detection, storage tank fitting controls, and monitoring for early compliance. We’ve expanded our Delve to include emission controls at gasoline terminals, vapor combustion devices, vapor recovery units, flares, and new cargo tank vapor tightness requirements.
