Our team has been on the move. Noel Frame shares about her inspiring week in Spokane for the Washington Economic Development Association and International Economic Development Council conferences.
Last week, the Washington Economic Development Association hosted a powerful spring conference in Spokane focusing on “Sprinting Towards a More Equitable Future.” Beto Yarce, Regional Administrator, was humbled to participate in the panel discussion of “Successful Strategies Towards a More Equitable Economic Future.” He was joined by Washington State’s top leaders in economic equity: Andrea Caupain Sanderson, Co-Executive Director, BIPOC ED Coalition; Marvo Reguindin, Executive Director, AHANA; Paula Sardinas, CEO & President, FMS Global Strategies and Founder, Washington Build Back Black Alliance; and Shirline Wilson, Executive Director, Washington Employers for Racial Equity. The evening before the panel discussion, Beto was thrilled to reconnect with Suzanne Dale Estey, Executive Director, WEDA, and Noel Frame, Washington State Senator for the 36th District. Beto also enjoyed catching up with Lisa Smith, Washington State Microenterprise Association ~ Official, to bring each other up to speed on the latest developments for our state’s smallest businesses.
