A Decade of Performance Excellence

I am extremely excited to chair the 10th international conference on performance evaluation and benchmarking #TPCTC 2018, collocated with #VLDB2018. It's hard to believe so much time has passed, but it was all the way back in 2009 when we initiated this international conference series (#TPCTC) to keep pace with the rapidly changing technology landscape, and develop innovative techniques for evaluation, measurement and characterization of complex systems. 

This dedicated effort has been tremendously successful in bringing industry and academia together, laying the foundation for new benchmark standards in big data analytics, database virtualization, internet of things, and hyperconverged infrastructure - there have been over 100 papers published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
