We had a great pleasure to welcome 25 exceptional women entrepreneurs, 12 from Malaysia and 13 from Singapore to the kick-off event of the Women Entrepreneurs Academy (WEA) 2024, a flagship program organized by P&G, and WeConnect International.   This year marks the 2nd year since the program has been implemented in Malaysia, making it a total of 134 women entrepreneurs in both countries to benefit from the Academy. The transformative impact witnessed among these remarkable women fills us with immense pride, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing similar journeys unfold for this year’s participants.   At P&G, we build supplier diversity into our business strategies as part of our equality and inclusion efforts. The P&G WEA has now become a cornerstone for our supplier diversity plan. We are happy to share the vibrant and festive Chinese New Year celebration in our office, which marked by traditional decorations and engaging activities such as lion dance and red lanterns. Red packets were also exchanged for good luck, and speeches from our Country Leaders conveyed well wishes for prosperity and health in the new year. We are happy to share the news of an impactful collaboration between P&G Malaysia and MYDIN as we launch the Monsoon CSR Program, dedicated to providing flood relief for the affected communities in Malaysia.   In the face of recent challenges posed by the monsoon season, we have united with a common goal - to extend a helping hand to those in need and make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow Malaysians.   Accordingly, from 1st November to 31st December 2023, each RM10 purchase of P&G products at MYDIN stores will contribute 5 cents to the relief fund. We implore consumers to support this esteemed endeavour. Each purchase symbolizes a move towards mitigating the struggles of those in need.
