The RL Digital Content Accounting team oversees financial accounting for media and experiences created for our products and services, such as virtual reality games, videos, and immersive content. As a member of this high-performing team, you will ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of digital products in accordance with US GAAP, while supporting key business initiatives. Accountant, Reality Labs Digital Content Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an accurate, timely and scalable month-end close process for Digital Content.
  • Review revenue contracts to ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 606) and internal policies.
  • Drive process improvements by proactively identifying opportunities and partnering with cross functional process owners including Engineering to build and implement solutions for business growth and scalability.
  • Assist in systems testing for any new product launches and other business initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as product development and marketing, to accurately account for Digital products.
  • Partner closely with internal and external auditors on satisfactory completion of all audit requests.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all pertinent Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) documentation and requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting packages to management.
  • Other ad-hoc projects
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient with ASC 606 and providing such accounting guidance.
  • Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial reporting and analysis.
  • Possess a proven understanding of the Digital Content industry.
  • Self-starter and experience operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Highly collaborative temperament, proven communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in optimizing or redesigning existing processes resulting from business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA/Public accounting experience
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Essbase

$91,000/year to $133,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
