Software Engineer, Embedded Responsibilities
  • Work on new connectivity/wireless software stacks to shape future of these technologies.
  • Work on existing connectivity/wireless software stacks to improve and meet product needs.
  • Implement automated certification, functional, and compatibility testing.
  • Work on root-cause issues reported by QA and customer feedback in wireless domains.
  • Contribute to code bases written in Java, C, C++, Python for Android, and automated testing.
  • Work closely with team to solve issues and create new features in connectivity space.
  • Provide support to QA, manufacturing, and other software teams.
  • Understand complex systems with wireless interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field and five years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires five years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Coding in: C/C++, Java, Python, or Android
  • 2. Working with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, cellular, or GPS technology
  • 3. Embedded software development and design for consumer electronic products
  • 4. Developing solid testing platforms
  • 5. Optimizing connectivity and wireless software stacks (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Core Android networking)
  • 6. Low-level systems software and device driver programming
  • 7. Shipping hardware/software products.

$215,476/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
