Meta is seeking an experienced Finance Outsourcing Strategy Manager to join its Global Finance Outsourcing Strategy Team. This person will report to the Director of Global Finance Outsourcing Strategy and will be key in the continued development and oversight of our India Finance BPO Vendors. This role will be responsible for oversight of our India Outsourcing Delivery location ensuring the best services for our internal cross functional partners are delivered while maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally. Success in this role involves an ability to think critically, plan and execute effectively while collaborating across Global Locations. The successful candidate will be an energetic, highly driven, solution focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. The ability to think strategically while also being equally comfortable delivering on operational goals is critical.
Finance Outsourcing Strategy Manager Responsibilities
  • Responsible for local oversight for APAC Finance Business Process Outsourcing Vendors in India and Malaysia. This includes managing the local relationship, and ensuring the appropriate controls, governance and oversight procedures are in place for the services that are delivered from these locations
  • Act in conjunction with your Global peers, to ensure our India and Malaysia BPO Vendor is delivering services which meet & exceed the services expected, proactively highlighting, managing and mitigating risks
  • Build an effective working relationship with the Global team, proactively contributing to optimization of the structure and the operating model of the global team
  • Implement and manage governance oversight procedures including responsibility for driving process improvement and automation initiatives relating to the Governance of our Vendor Partners
  • Change Management - oversee & assist with service provider readiness to support new process rollouts, changes to business processes and systems
  • Responsible for regional oversight for our APAC Finance Vendor Partners ensuring all commercial, finance and compliance requirements are up to date. Evaluate opportunities to further optimize the structures working in conjunction with Global Process Owners
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of relevant experience including working in multi-national, public companies
  • Experience working in or leading shared services and outsourcing, with specific experience in finance or compliance functions
  • Experience working collaboratively in a cross - functional, global environment
  • Communication skills, experience getting into the detail yet also articulate findings to executive level
  • Ability to drive governance processes in a shared services or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of 3rd party risks and mitigations.
  • Understanding of process and operational excellence frameworks and the ability to apply them to different environments
  • Ability to provide insights which result in better business decisions.
