As part of the Meta’s People Organization, the People Operations Team strives to create exceptional people experiences and programs at scale across the entire employee and contingent workforce lifecycle. We oversee knowledge management of people policies and practices and design solutions to create better and seamless experiences across our company. We’re looking for an experienced people analytics leader to join our people analytics function. The Director HR Tech Data and Analytics role will report to the Director, HR Tech and lead a cross-functional team responsible for dashboard development across the employee lifecycle, product development, data governance, and full stack HR reporting. This role will partner closely with other People Operations, Applied People Science, People Strategy and Execution, and Engineering teams and stakeholders to scale our ability to provide insights on all aspects of the employee experience including employee attraction and selection, performance, growth, engagement, compensation, diversity, retention and people operations. The ideal candidate will have skills in scaling data services and driving self service for stakeholders, execution rigor to deliver on established goals and people & executive stakeholder management in addition to expertise in data management, reporting and visualization.
Director, People Data Solutions Responsibilities
  • Lead the global strategy for People Reporting at the enterprise level and establish scalable solutions to support end users
  • Influence and drive strategy to enable scale and alignment across multiple teams
  • Understand key business needs, operationalize them into people metrics, and deliver them at scale
  • Apply your expertise in data management, reporting and visualization to help Meta make data-driven decisions
  • Build an architecture and monitoring mechanism across the data reporting landscape to have an always on sensing and response methodologies established
  • Develop and deliver self-service knowledge, dashboards and reports
  • Refine and implement an end-to-end data quality framework to continuously improve data quality
  • Ensure consistent methodology and alignment on data collection, definitions, metrics, and reporting across our tools and teams
  • Manage all aspects of our people data queue, from process design to execution
  • Establish an operational model to prioritize and support ad-hoc data requests
  • Serve as the primary business owner that works with our People Engineering team to build, maintain and improve our people data tools and products
  • Grow, manage, & develop a high-performing cross-functional data solutions team
  • Partner with People team members to enhance and promote effective use of self-service dashboards
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data
  • Develop quality training programs and a change management approach to improve adoption & business impact
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years experience across People Data Analytics, Systems, Operations or related field 6+ years people management experience in People analytics or related field
  • Experience with large-scale data management, data structures, and data schemas (i.e., relational database structures)
  • Knowledge of data visualization principles and experience conveying data
  • Communication, team building and leadership experience
  • Experience in Tableau, SQL and HRIS systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years experience across People Data Analytics, Systems or Operations
  • 10+ years people management experience in People analytics
  • Internal and external consulting experience
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in the field
  • Experience in a fast moving, high-growth company and/or tech industry

$222,000/year to $286,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
