Cross Meta Support (XS) aims to radically improve the support we provide to users of all Meta products by meaningfully improving the experience of our users, providing insights to improve the usability of all Meta products, and driving value to the company. As the Content Design Manager for this team you will collaborate with partners in Product Design, User Research, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and other functions and roles in a highly cross-functional team environment. You’ll be a strong advocate for content design as well as an integral part of the user experience team. You’re a good fit for this role if you: * Love to evolve teams and team culture * Aren’t daunted by complex product ecosystems and rapidly changing priorities that require flexibility and agility * Can establish strong collaborative relationships with your cross-functional partners * Are a UX practitioner who can co-lead overall design direction * Enjoy the challenge of partnering with and influencing other content and product teams at Meta to produce high-quality work * Have experience in ads, payments, support, integrity, identity or other systems-oriented roles * Can influence partners and priorities with a user-focused perspective * Like building the craft of content design, through standards, terminology, design systems, tone and voice. * Are comfortable making decisions with incomplete data and operating in ambiguity * Are flexible to accommodate working across various time zones (EST, LON)
Content Design Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage a team that delivers on multiple projects or programs across regions or business groups.
  • Build internal community (for example, drive inclusion, onboard new employees, and connect people on your team with new opportunities).
  • Provide regular performance feedback, check-ins and reviews for people who report to you.
  • Coach team members to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers.
  • Build the teams and skills necessary for long-term growth, both within and outside the organization.
  • Help to recruit highly talented people to join the content design team, and onboard cross-functionally.
  • Provide content design for complex features for the global Meta audience.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and content templates that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly.
  • Share your own work and give feedback to teammates in a variety of settings.
  • Promote content design at Meta and in the broader design and content communities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience in content design or related fields
  • 2+ years experience managing, coaching and developing direct reports
  • Knowledge of social and mobile experiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years experience working with product teams
