Meta is currently seeking a dynamic sales and marketing professional to contribute to developing and promoting Meta's advertising solutions for the DACH Commerce team in the Meta Global Business Group. Account Managers are pivotal in establishing strategic partnerships, fostering growth, and providing guidance by leveraging data-driven insights for advertisers. Especially ahead of the upcoming peak season. Success requires a proven record of engaging decision-makers, identifying opportunities and trends, and implementing strategic and tactical approaches. Ideal candidates exhibit a goal-oriented, data-driven mindset, prioritise client satisfaction, possess consultative sales skills, analytical prowess, business acumen and strong communication skills. This position is based in Meta's EMEA Headquarters in Dublin and is a 12months fixed term contract.
Account Manager DACH Commerce (CPG/Ecomm/Retail) - STE Responsibilities
  • Accurately and effectively manage sales pipeline in order to identify and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Develop and actively manage short and long term account plans based on a strong understanding of a customer’s business and marketing objectives.
  • Responsible for educating clients on products, new solutions and best practices to drive adoption and grow existing business partnerships.
  • Identify, create, and implement marketing solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our partners.
  • Influence and shape client strategy by actively focusing on clients' unique needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and broaden high-level collaborative relationships, including understanding and identifying contacts that manage multiple budgets, (brand, DR etc.) and close large deals.
  • Take ownership of your assigned verticals to ensure they are set up for continued growth via Portfolio strategy planning and building.
  • Be an active contributor of the DACH, regional and EMEA sales teams to help achieve overall team goals and development.
  • Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and ability to co-manage/lead work streams.
  • Gather advertisers feedback to enhance ad products and the customer experience
  • Represent Meta at conferences, events or through webinars.
  • Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Client management experience: 2+ years previous experience in sales or agency account management
  • Strong critical thinking, data analytical skills with a consultative and technical mind-set
  • Identify and leverage market, consumer behavioural and competitive landscapes shifts and trends within specific industries.
  • Constant vigilance, data analysis, and a deep understanding of the industry's dynamic interpreting data to extract actionable insights.
  • High level of comfort presenting key client issues to C level, in an effort to be the customer advocate within Meta
  • Strong team working skills, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
  • Fluency & excellent communications and presentation skills in English and German.
