We have a senior in high school, and we just started a road trip of NC exploring colleges. First stop was a tour of UNC Wilmington (@UNCwilmington).
One of 17 institutions in the UNC System, UNCW is a nationally recognized large public doctoral university with a private feel.
Home of the Seahawks, UNCW is a coastal university with nearly 18,000 students with excellence in academics, research, engagement & service.
UNCW offers a full range of baccalaureate and graduate-level programs, as well as doctoral degrees in areas of expertise that serve state needs.
Georgian style architecture and beautiful landscaping on the 650-acre campus make UNCW one of the most attractive college campuses in the South.Â
It’s a lovely campus, just 10 minutes from Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.

Yesterday we did a campus tour of NC State University with our daughter, who is a senior in high school. Yes, we are at that stage in our life. It comes around quickly!!
Over the next week, we are doing a college campus road trip of North Carolina. On her list of schools to visit are:

* UNC Wilmington
* UNC Chapel Hill
* App State
* UNC Charlotte
* UNC Asheville

Waking up at Wrightsville Beach on the @wilmingtoncoast to a glorious sunrise is one of our favorite things about a getaway to the coast from Raleigh.
The perfect way to start our day before taking our daughter on a college campus tour of @uncwilmington .
Even though we had a brilliant view of the ocean from the balcony of our room at Holiday Inn Resort Lumina [hosted] we always like to make the effort to sit on the sand by the edge of the ocean.
