For solving the issues, conventional methods are not implemented, whereas a new underwater vehicle is introduced which acts as a sensing device and monitors the ambient noise in the system. However, the fundamentals of creating underwater vehicles have been considered from conventional systems and the new formulations are generated. This innovative sensing device will function based on the energy produced by the solar cells which will operate for a short period of time under the water where low parametric units are installed. The hotel industry employers are facing great deal of problem in retaining the employees, which i... more The hotel industry employers are facing great deal of problem in retaining the employees, which in turn has ended up as turnover issue in the industry. This is because they are unable to meet the expectations of the employees and create a desirable working environment. Many of the graduates and employees tend to leave or change the organisation when their expectations are not met in the particular organisations. Human resource managers and industry experts have been continuously trying to overcome this issue by trying to find out the expectations an employee have from the organisation. This research papers is an attempt to find out the various factors which are expected by an employee working in hotel industry. A questionnaire was prepared to record the feedback of various operational staff of hotels with different variables which were identified through secondary data and factor analysis method was used to reduce these variables to limited number of factors for easy understanding.

As the job opportunities increases in hotels, and housekeeping department being the largest employer alone department wise as stated in a report by National Skill Development Corporation 2012, it is definitely a great time for employees who wish to advance their career or choose housekeeping as their career choice. The purpose of this paper is to examine the motives and factors that influence the employee engagement in housekeeping department. Four independent variables have been identified as the factors that are going to be tested in this research which will provide us with essential data on different motives.

The hotel or hospitality industry has also come up with green meeting initiatives which strive in the direction to save our environment and produce the least amount of waste which has been an emerging problem in terms of food, accommodation, energy, water, etc. Many hotels have benefited from green management in ways such as enhanced reputation of the firm and an increase in loyal customers. This review paper aims at understanding the importance of implementing sustainable and green practices in the meeting of hotel and hospitality industries. The findings and review of data discussed in this paper, may generate ideas and prove to be beneficial by implementing of such green practices in hotels which they could consider in near future to be a part of a greener, more sustainable Industry.

A questionnaire was developed to identify perceptions and attitudes of students towards careers in the hospitality industry, and review was properly executed to understand what respondents believe behind their perception for the same. Future of an industry depends on the quality and motivation of its potential employees, foundation of which starts with students who are in pursuit of getting ready for the industry. So as to identify whether the industry's reputation is shared by young individuals and if it affects their career decisions, this paper was worked upon. The candidates who participated gave various types of responses that were further technically analysed to bring out the motivation factors for joining hospitality industry. These factors that were distinguished based on the tastes of the aspirant and the motivation and personal satisfaction offered by the industry.

These challenges are faced due to number of reasons, which include government policies, competition, market size and human resource related issues. Over the time, the Human Resource related issues have emerged as big challenge for Indian hotel industry. Though there are many challenges but employee turnover is one of the major challenge that the hospitality industry facing. Deloiltte research team conducted a Comparison Trends Survey (2013-14)}, which shows that the average rate of employee turnover is 13% across the country in hospitality. According to the report of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)(2011)has projected human resource requirement in hotel industry in India will be 27, 72000 by the year 2022. Housekeeping department is considered to be the backbone of hotel operations. Further, the review of same report suggest that the share of housekeeping department in total H.R requirement will be 6,34000 by the year 2022, which is highest among all the other departments of hotel. New Delhi, being an administrative capital of India is always a " melting pot of diverse culture " , it is a city with a rich historical past & a world class international airport makes it act as a " Gateway to India ". Today it has wide variety of hotels & many more are coming. A report published by Confederation of India Industry (CII) (2012) shows that Delhi alone has 288 registered hotels, which account 12% of total registered hotels within the country ranging from budget to five star. Despite of remarkable growth in hotel sector, dealing with Human Resource issues is a problem. The present study focuses on employee turnover issues in housekeeping departments of hotels located in New Delhi & tries to find out various reasons of employee turnover.

As a result the hospitality sector has tremendous employment opportunities in hotel sector in India. According to report of National Skill Development Corporation 2011, the requirement of human resource in hotel industry in India will be 27, 72000 by the year 2022. But, on the other hand the hotel industry is suffering from a number of problems these are market size, competition, government policies and human resource related issues. Employee turnover is also one of them. Comparison Trend Survey-2013-14 finds that the average rate of employee turnover in hospitality industry is 13%, which indicates that after having so much opportunity the industry is still suffering from the problem of employee turnover. The present study focuses on the issue of employee turnover in housekeeping department in the hotel industry of Delhi and Rajasthan & tries to find out the various reasons and remedies of employee turnover. Further, these results & presented in systematic manner with the help of 8D model of problem solving.
