Abstract
This review article characterizes Haemophilus influenzae bacteria and presents basic clinical syndromes caused by it. It informs about sources and pathways of Haemophilus influenzae infection and gives basic comparative data on its epidemiology in different countries, and also different ethnic and social groups.
