Objective: To study the Mycoplasma pneumonia (MP) with cold agglutinin disease (CAD) and inquire into its diagnosis and treatment.
Methods: 3 report of cases and literature were reviewed.
Results: Accompanying with hemolysis and microcirculatory retardation, 3 patients with acute respiratory infection were finally diagnosed MP with CAD. Antimicrobial therapy and plasmapheresis showed favorable effect.
Conclusions: MP patients would be highly suspected to be associated with CAD, if accompanying with hemolysis and microcirculatory retardation. Laboratory examinations are helpful for diagnosis. On the basis of combined therapy, plasmapheresis is effective.
