Focal fibrosis as a cause of localized ground glass attenuation (GGA)--CT and MR findings

Radiat Med. 2002 Mar-Apr;20(2):93-5.

Abstract

We report a case of focal fibrosis that appeared as localized ground glass attenuation (GGA) on thin-section computed tomography (TSCT). The TSCT and MRI findings correlated well with the pathological results, corresponding to fibrous thickening of the alveolar septa with mild chronic inflammation.
