[Article in Polish]

Abstract

Various late complications of the chemotherapy or radiotherapy have been discussed with special reference to rare life-threatening side-effects. The long term strategy of patient's care and preliminary principles of prevention of above complications have also been presented. It has been emphasized that life-threatening complications occurring in a small percentage of patients are not indications for limited or ineffective therapy giving no chance of saving of numerous children.
