[Article in German]

Abstract

A biopsy of a rectal carcinoma has led to the extraction of a 2.5 cm arterial specimen, followed by an arterial bleeding. The cause of this exceptional complication was the presence of atypical vessels reaching the rectal lumen due to tumor ulceration.
