[Pathologic splenic rupture in the course of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma]

Abstract

Pathologic rupture of the spleen is an uncommon but life-threatening complication of some malignant diseases. This paper presents a case of splenic rupture which occurred in a man with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We briefly discuss etiology, pathophysiology, symptoms and treatment of this complication.
