The application of stiff intervertebral implants in the cervical spine: a description of the method

Ortop Traumatol Rehabil. 2006 Jun 30;8(3):356-63.

Abstract

In recent years stiff inserts filled with bone graft have come to be used in order to fixate the interbody space after resection of the intervertebral disc. Thanks to the ease of application and radiological evaluation of bone union, as well as the reduction of surgical access to the cervical spine, these implants are being used with increasing frequency. Accordingly, we have presented in this article our own clinical experience in the use of Solis cervical cages over the last five years.
