[Influence of excipients on moisture absorption and dispersibility of Shuanghuanglian microcapsules]

Abstract

Objective: To study the influences of excipients on the moisture absorption and dispersibility of Shuanghuanglian microcapsules.

Methods: Shuanghuanglian microcapsules were prepared with different wall materials, antisticking agents and ratio of medicinal materials to exipients, and the moisture absorption and dispersibility of the microcapsules were determined.

Results: The dispersibility of Shuanghuanglian microcapsules weakened with the increasing of moisture absorption, but some samples were of good dispersibility in spite of the high moisture absorption.

Conclusion: During the research on the dampproof technologies, not only the moisture absorption, but also the dispersibility of samples should be investigated.
