Objective: To demonstrate a case of unrecognized endometrial cancer at endometrial ablation.
Subject: Case report.
Setting: Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Department of Pathology, Jessenius Faculty Hospital, Martin, Slovakia.
Subject and method: Authors describe a case of an early endometrial cancer diagnosed from material obtained by bipolar loop electrode during endometrial ablation.
Conclusion: Authors poing out insufficiency of curettage as a method of endometrial biopsy prior to ablation. Using of the loop electrode may minimize the incidence of unrecognized malignancies.
