Abstract

The actual multidisciplinary treatment of patients suffering from colorectal liver metastases has benefited from major progresses both from safer and oncologically more aggressive liver resections and from more efficient chemotherapeutic agents. However, surgical resection remains still actually the only chance for potential cure and long-term survival.
