Two new bromotyrosine derivatives from the marine sponge Pseudoceratina sp

Chem Biodivers. 2008 Jul;5(7):1313-20. doi: 10.1002/cbdv.200890118.

Abstract

Two new bromotyrosine alkaloids, purealidins T and U (1 and 2, resp.), along with five known bromotyrosines 3-7, were isolated from marine sponge Pseudoceratina sp. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data (CD, IR, 1D- and 2D-NMR, and MS) analysis.
