Angiology. 1991 Jan;42(1):81-4. doi: 10.1177/000331979104200115.

Abstract

The total occlusion of the left main coronary artery (LMCA) is rare, and the survival depends on the existence of collateral circulation. The author presents a case of total occlusion of the left main coronary artery with survival in a young woman because he thinks this is a very rare case, owing to the sex and age of the patient.
