Australas Radiol. 1990 Nov;34(4):350-2. doi: 10.1111/j.1440-1673.1990.tb02673.x.

Abstract

A case of presumed fibromuscular dysplasia involving the left common carotid artery with formation of fusiform aneurysm of the whole length of the common carotid artery, and a distal web-like lesion, is described in a 25 year old female patient. The angiographic appearance of the lesion is uncommon, as is the involvement of the common carotid artery. The literature is reviewed.
