Abstract

The experience of cancer represents an upsetting ordeal, in particular for adolescents. After treatment, the patient has to undergo an agonising transition period until the announcement of a recovery: complete remission. The disappearance of the signs of the disease does not exclude the risk of the cancer returning, which makes it difficult for the patient to resume a normal life.
