Abstract

A novel perylene oxazine imide (POI) with donor-π-bridge-acceptor (D-π-A) asymmetric structure was synthesized from tetrachlorinated perylene bisimide (PBI) through transformation of one imide group to oxazine, which exhibits significant charge transfer optical properties in solutions.
