Management of septic shock complicating pregnancy

Abstract

Septic shock can be a devastating management problem during pregnancy. Current concepts regarding the pathophysiology and clinical impact of this disorder are detailed with emphasis upon the cardiovascular system. A hemodynamic approach for stabilizing such patients is offered.
