Abstract

A novel series of 2-thio-5-thiomethyl substituted imidazoles was discovered to be potent TGR5 agonists that possessed glucose-lowering effects while inhibiting gall bladder emptying in mice.

Keywords: Gall bladder; Imidazole; OGTT; TGR5.
