Abstract

A facile and novel method was developed to fabricate silica-based hierarchical porous Janus microcapsules (HPJMs SiO₂) for catalysis. The resulting Au@HPJMs SiO₂ nanocomposites showed enhanced catalysis, great stability, convenient recovery and reuse without losing catalytic efficiency.
