Abstract

A new tetradentate tripodal ligand, ^iPrPPPN^HPy^Me, and the cobalt complexes were synthesized and characterized. The well-defined cobalt complexes efficiently catalyzed acceptorless dehydrogenation of secondary alcohols into ketones.
