• ¹ Don Krieger is a biomedical researcher whose focus is the electrical activity within the brain. He worked for 18 years as an on-call staff clinical neurophysiologist for high-risk surgical procedures. He is author of the poetry collection Discovery (Cyberwit, 2020) and is a 2020 Creative Nonfiction Foundation Science as Story Fellow. His work has appeared in Neurology, Seneca Review, the Asahi Shimbun, The Blue Nib, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, among others, and in several anthologies in both English and Farsi.
