HIF2 keeps paces in tight hypoxic spaces

Blood. 2021 Jun 17;137(24):3323-3324. doi: 10.1182/blood.2021011009.

Abstract

In this issue of Blood, Sormendi et al provide compelling evidence that the stabilization of transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor 2 (HIF2) promotes the motility of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN), especially neutrophils, through highly constrained matrices.
