A technique for stenting tortuous ureters

J Urol. 1987 Oct;138(4):831. doi: 10.1016/s0022-5347(17)43387-8.

Abstract

A technique is described that has proved repeatedly to be successful in stenting tortuous ureters, such as those found in chronic distal ureteral obstruction in patients with prostatic carcinoma or long-standing obstruction in those with ureteral stone disease. Common endourological instruments are used and the procedure is performed under fluoroscopic control.
