Abstract

Cerebral granulomas are associated with nervous signs in Salmonella Pullorum outbreak.Bone marrow is also a recommended tissue for isolation of Salmonella Pullorum.Rapid plate agglutination test detects Pullorum antibodies in a vaccinated flock.Phylogenetic analysis showed clonality of isolates within the outbreak.

Keywords: Salmonella Pullorum; immunohistochemistry; laying hen; neurological signs; rapid plate agglutination test; whole genome sequencing.
