Two cases of bilateral carotid aneurysms are reported in which the neck of remaining aneurysm was successfully clipped by way of a contralateral pterional approach. The authors emphasized that in some cases of bilateral intracranial aneurysms (e.g. Aneurysms of the unilateral circle of Willis' and ipsilateral middle cerebral aneurysm plus contralateral internal carotid aneurysm), this is the preferred approach.
