Abstract

A provocation of the delayed-type hypersensitivity in the ear of guinea pigs and the measurement of an always identical piece of skin allows a better quantification of this test. By histological studies is demonstrated that the skin thickness is the result of a characteristic infiltration with mononuclear cells 24 hours after antigen application.
