Immunofluorescence technique for detection of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) antibodies against HCMV-induced late antigens with elimination of immunoglobulin G-receptor staining

J Clin Microbiol. 1980 Jun;11(6):717-9. doi: 10.1128/jcm.11.6.717-719.1980.

Abstract

An immunofluorescence technique is described which permits the elimination of nonspecific cytoplasmic staining from late antigen preparations by using in situ a buffer containing Nonidet P-40.
