Dermal deposits mistaken for breast calcifications

Radiology. 1983 Nov;149(2):592-4. doi: 10.1148/radiology.149.2.6622710.

Abstract

Isolated skin calcifications can be mistaken for intramammary clustered microcalcifications. Confirmation of the dermal location of benign skin deposits will avoid unnecessary biopsy procedures.
