Bipedicled delay of the deltopectoral flap in raising the pectoral myocutaneous flap

Laryngoscope. 1984 Apr;94(4):554-5. doi: 10.1288/00005537-198404000-00025.

Abstract

A technique for preserving the ipsilateral deltopectoral flap when raising the pectoralis major myocutaneous flap has been described. Excellent visualization is gained by raising the DP flap through parallel incisions, and not dividing its tip. Subsequent unrestricted use of the DP flap is possible.
