Treatment of metabolic alkalosis with peritoneal dialysis in a patient with renal failure

Abstract

Peritoneal dialysis using a chloride-rich dialysate succeeded in correcting systemic metabolic alkalosis in a patient with renal failure. The present approach may have a place in the therapy of metabolic alkalosis.
