Neurotensin-immunoreactive ganglion cells in the pigeon retina

J Vet Med Sci. 1995 Apr;57(2):341-2. doi: 10.1292/jvms.57.341.

Abstract

Neurotensin immunocytochemistry was carried out in the pigeon retina after colchicine had been injected into a ventricle of the brain. Immunoreactivity was observed in the ganglion cells and amacrine cells. The ganglion cells were stained in small and large types. This result indicates the presence of neurotensin in the ganglion cells of the pigeon retina.
