Abstract
A 73 y old female was found to suffer from a squamous cell carcinoma with a focal thymus-like differentiation in a thyroglossal duct cyst. A neoplasma of this type in a goitre with Graves' disease is extremely rare. Sonographic, radiological, scintigraphic and microscopic findings are discussed.
