[A case of Recklinghausen's disease with glioma of the optic nerve]

Abstract

A case of Recklinghausen's disease in a 2.5-year-old girl, with typical skin changes and tumor of the optic nerve is presented. The tumor was excised, preserving the eyeball, and diagnosed histopathologically as glioma. The child remained under control.
